At the Hong Kong concert 1982 (she first recorded a studio version 幾時你回來 (when will you return) in 1967 in her first album Teresa Teng's Songs No. 1 Fengyang Flower Drums 鄧麗君之歌第一集　鳳陽花鼓 at age 14, and in 1978 in the album, "A Love Letter" and, due to her Chinese name, this song is often being reminded as her fans' wish for her return - 何日鄧麗君再来). This song is one of the most famous signature songs of Teresa Teng.

Before singing the encore after her concert was over, she interacts with her adoring fans in very good Cantonese with a slight accent:-
